Discover what Champaign-Urbana and the University of Illinois have to offer.

Meet Faculty, Staff & Students

Prospective and admitted students are welcome to schedule a visit to the School of Labor and Employment Relations. The one- to five-hour visit will be tailored to fit your interests and may include meetings with the dean, faculty, director of Student Services and director of Career Services.

You may have the opportunity to eat lunch with current students, and sit in on a class to experience life as an LER student. We also encourage potential students to attend an LER Informational Meeting for the opportunity to meet other potential students who could be in your cohort.

The best time to visit is September through April, when classes are in session. Contact Becky Barker at ebarker@illinois.edu or (217) 333-2381 schedule a visit.
