Experience

Growing up and living in Central Illinois, Hatfield has always been in a role centered around relationships, marketing and advertising. Most recently, as Director of Sales for the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, he was responsible for leading sales efforts to attract meetings, conventions and sporting events to the Peoria Area generating a substantial economic impact to the community. Prior to that, he was the Sports and Sales Director for Visit Champaign County. Before moving to Peoria, he was very active within the community, serving on boards with United Way and the Boy Scouts of America-Prairielands Council.

Cory and his wife, Julie, reside in Savoy, IL with their daughter, Kendall, and are enjoying rediscovering the University of Illinois and Champaign-Urbana’s many diverse activities it has to offer. In his free time, he’s cheering on the Fighting Illini, World Champion Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, and being a mediocre weekend golfer.
