We are excited to announce that Assistant Professor Johnnie Kallas has received the Thomas A. Kochan and Steven R. Sleigh Best Dissertation Award from the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA). Johnnie completed his PhD at Cornell in December and joined LER as an assistant professor in January. We are proud of Johnnie’s accomplishments and are excited to see what he will bring to LER.
LERA will hold its 76th Annual Meeting in New York City on June 26-30, 2024, where the award will be announced. LER will also have a gathering for New York alumni and faculty/staff in town. We will be sharing more details on the event closer to the date.
