Tuition & Scholarship Information
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Students
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students pay a range tuition, whether courses are taken online or in a classroom. Contact the Office of the Registrar for details on tuition and fees. There are no additional fees to enroll in LER online courses. There is a separate range tuition for summer classes.
Continuing Education Students
Continuing Education students (those not enrolled as full-time undergraduates) can find current tuition rates through the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. Students receiving the LER scholarship receive a 25% reduction in tuition.
LER online classes, combined with the union scholarship, can be a great deal. And you don’t have to be an Illinois resident – the same rate is charged for GLS classes regardless of where you live.
The School of Labor and Employment Relations has made available to union members reduced pricing for the tuition cost of any LER online courses taken through the Academic Outreach office at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Verification of union status is required to receive the scholarship. Scholarship applicants must provide a copy of their union card at the point of application submission.
It is expected that if you receive funding from LER to use toward your tuition payment, you will complete the course.
