Where Grads Work

For the 2017-2018 academic year, one hundred percent of domestic students where placed in internships and most found their positions through Career Services at the School of Labor & Employment Relations.

Graduates work in all aspects of human resources at companies around the world. In addition to the salaries reported below, most companies pay relocation expenses, some offer stock options immediately, and if you convert your internship to full-time employment, some companies will adjust your start date to reflect your intern work. Full-Time Employment

For full-time entry-level hires, the average private sector salary was $76,607 with a range of $45,000 – $92,496. Signing bonuses averaged $8,000, ranging between $1,000 – $15,000. Eighty-seven percent of graduates found their positions through LER Career Services.

Internships

Interns received an average salary of $5,386 per month (private sector), with a range of $3,360-$6,800 per month. One hundred percent of eligible domestic LER students were placed in internships and 55% of graduating domestic LER students accepted a full-time position with the company at which they interned the previous summer.
