LER welcomes your organization to schedule an on-campus information session at a low cost in a convenient location.

We are happy to host both early-season meet-and-greets and in-season information sessions. Recruiting for full-time positions and summer internships begins October for fall and February for spring. Contact our office for semester-specific details.


Information sessions have standard start times of 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Requests for information session space are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To schedule, contact Brooke D’Urso at (217) 333-2777 or bkdurso@illinois.edu. Materials can be mailed directly to the school at 504 E. Armory Avenue, Champaign, IL 61820. Please mark materials with “HOLD FOR: Organization Name and Date of Event.”

We prefer that you coordinate your information session through our office. If you choose to reserve a room on your own or host at an off-campus location, we ask that you confirm dates and times with Career Services before making arrangements so we can verify there is no overlap with other information sessions. This will allow for a higher student turnout and a more successful event for employers and students alike.


The cost to schedule is $250 for up to a 90-minute session.
This includes:

  • One classroom that seats up to 60 students
  • Session host to assist with logistics, technology, food distribution and clean-up
  • Overhead projector, screen and computer


Payments can be made by check or credit card and must be received one week before the event. Payments will be collected by Brooke D’Urso at bkdurso@illinois.edu or (217) 333-2777.


Each organization will be responsible for making their own catering orders and delivery arrangements for their event. Don’t forget to ask your catering organization to provide whatever plates/cups/napkins will be necessary for your order. Please note that alcohol is prohibited at all on-campus recruiting events.


Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session date are subject to a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations made after the 48 hour window will not be refunded.


After 5 p.m., you can park in any university lot in an unrented space at no charge. The closest lot is Lot C9 – north of the LER building, accessible from Fifth Street.

Metered parking near the school is available for $1/hour, free after 9 p.m.
