They were selected by the Dean, three members of the Executive Committee, and two full professors.

Professor Benton
Professor Benton joined the School in 2015 and is the Director of the Climate Jobs Institute. In addition, he teaches Organizational Fundamentals for HR and Power and Influence in HR. His research focuses on the role of social networks in individual and organizational outcomes as well as the dynamics of network change.
“This generous support from LER will be used to advance my research on the role of social networks in corporate governance. I plan to develop a novel study on the differences between board roles and social networks in private and public firms, providing new insights into the role of social networks in private and public markets.”

Professor Park
Professor Park joined the School in 2015, and teaches Employee Stress, Well-Being, & Safety and Management of Workplace Gender Issues. Her key research goal is to contribute to scholarly knowledge in answering the significant question, “How can organizations support their employees’ well-being and health while enabling them to fully engage in their work and perform well?”
“This award not only recognizes the value of my research but also provides crucial support to pursue new ideas that advance our understanding of work, well-being, and organizations.
I’ll use this award to support my field survey research on dual-income couples’ dyadic self-regulation and planning for managing work and family demands, as well as how women navigate health issues in the workplace. Thank you for those who raised funds and donated to make this award possible.”
