Certificate in Global Labor Studies

The certificate is designed for workers and unionists who want to expand their knowledge of workers’ issues and rights, labor history, and the purpose activities, and functions of unions.

To complete the certificate, six 3-credit Global Labor Studies courses from Illinois are required. View the list of Global Labor Studies course descriptions here. Full-time University of Illinois students should instead seek a minor in Global Labor Studies.

Scholarships are available to qualified students.  You can order your course books through any online bookstore.
