Global Labor Studies

The Labor Education Program provides online, hybrid, and classroom courses in Global Labor Studies that allow students to analyze issues facing workers and labor unions.

University of Illinois Students

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students enroll in the courses as they would for an on-campus course by registering through banner/ UI Integrate. We offer a Minor in Global Labor Studies.

Other Students

Anyone can enroll in our online courses. Non-University of Illinois students are also encouraged to take LER online courses. Whether you’re a unionist, a student at another university, or an international student, you can enroll through the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning at the University of Illinois.
