The School is proud to announce that, following a competitive national search, Simon Restubog has been appointed as the permanent Dean, effective August 1.
Simon has served as Interim Dean since 2024. He brings steady, collaborative leadership, a deep commitment to the school, and a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the School and its constituents.
Under his leadership, we have advanced several initiatives designed to support our long-term growth and competitiveness. These efforts include the development and approval of a new human resources analytics concentration and an undergraduate certificate in human resources, the expansion of online and continuing education offerings, and work to secure a STEM designation for key programs to enhance the school’s ability to recruit and support international students. He has prioritized scholarship support, alumni engagement, and fundraising activities that align with the school’s strategic priorities and commitment to student success.
Professor Restubog has been a professor in the school since 2018 and holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Psychology. He is a top-tier scholar, ranked in the top 2% of global scientists by Elsevier. We are grateful for his continued service to the School and look forward to his tenure.
