Q: What do you hope to accomplish in the first five years of being a professional?

A: I want to drive diversity by focusing on inclusion and equity. It’s imperative that companies create policies and procedures that are implemented in a way that promotes a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

Q: What is one of your experiences that has taught you the most?

A: I learned a lot from moving to the United States by myself when I was sixteen. I had to become incredibly adaptable. I used patience, determination, and creative solutions to overcome all the obstacles that I faced. Ultimately, I learned that being outside of my comfort zone helps me grow.

Q: What has been your favorite class at LER?

A: Government Regulation with Professor Leroy. This class has taught me that not everything is black and white. There is a lot that depends on perception, and individual perspectives can drastically change outcomes.

Q: What is a skill that you’re most proud of?

A: I can understand people’s perspectives really well. By being able to put myself in their shoes, it makes it easier for me to find a solution that balances everyone’s wants and needs.
