Make your mark with the LER students – have your organization join the LER Corporate Scholarship Program!

Inflation is rising, the cost of living continues to climb, and our competitors are offering more financial aid than they have in the past. Our ability to attract top talent for your HR pipeline is linked to our ability to provide attractive financial aid to our incoming class.

Each year, the LER program admits over 100 students to our on-campus program. The top academic achievers in each class are awarded corporate scholarships.  For the past 30 years, many distinguished global companies have developed that talent through corporate support of the School’s top students. These students are now leaders in their organization and the HR community. Corporate sponsors are an integral part of the network of relationships that makes LER a globally valued destination for individuals planning to forge a career in HR.

An annual donation from your organization provides a tuition scholarship to a top student. The average gift of $10,000 provides substantial savings for the student, cutting their education costs by as much as 30%. The minimum donation for participation in this program is $5,000 per school year. Corporate scholarship donors recognize that their financial support at LER is the cornerstone to building successful partnerships and relationships with students. They demonstrate that they are willing to invest in the future of the HR function, just as students are investing in their potential to be that future.

Your organization’s involvement gives early exposure to the top talent in each class at the fall Scholarship Reception, allowing you to meet all the LER scholars and network with the student body. This event, while a simple occasion to connect with students, provides an effective opportunity to engage potential future employees who will remember your presence and your commitment to their careers and development. In addition, your company will be featured on a classroom plaque, on the LER home page in a rotating feature, and in a social media takeover with the School.

This is a key year for extra exposure as students struggle with a hot job market and the competing priorities of a mix of virtual and in-person recruiting activities. The reception will be held on September 9 at the LER building, and will allow students to get exclusive exposure to multiple partner companies in a single event.  Join companies like Eaton Corporation, General Mills, PepsiCo, and Polaris in becoming a successful partner in scholarship and career development.
